Hard work always pays
Ajit was in Mumbai recently shooting for a Hindi film. Not the main role, but a good beginning nevertheless, Santosh Shivan cinematographer-director has roped in Ajit to play a cameo role in his historical film 'Ashoka the Great'. While Shah Rukh Khan plays the title role, Ajit reportedly plays the role of Ashoka's brother in the film. 'Kandukonden Kandukonden' didn't exactly set the box office on fire in the North, but the film's heroes have been liked and found 'handsome' by the audience there. Particularly Ajit, who has got some offers from the Mumbai film industry, but is biding his time in selecting the right film. Shalini has accompanied Ajit to Mumbai.
