R.K.Selvamani is known for making sensational true stories. But he is going to offer shortly, 'Pottu Amman', a film that celebrates piety, in the style of Rama.Narayanan.

In order to safeguard his life of pleasures, a self-centered father wants to end the life of his own son. The cantankerous fellow fails in his murder mission. In due course, the son grows up to be an adult, marries and becomes a father too. But the old man remains incorrigible wicked to the core, he still wants to kill his offspring. The story goes on like this.

All the usual hot stuffs are there in this movie. Of course, Roja dances at the sanctum sanctorum of Amman, the goddess. Roja has just emerged safe out of her ordeals in court. This being the one hundredth film of Roja, Selvamani may have gone in for a better theme as his subject matter. As of now, so many catchy things are taking place all around him. And he is an adept in dishing out highly imaginative, pithy, spicy stories through his films.

What made him to bang upon stories like that of 'Pottu Amman'?

God only knows. Or is it Goddess, the Amman?

The program, 'Koteeswaran' is just two weeks old. Yet, with this programme, Sun T.V. has reached the top spot in the ratings. This has emboldened Radhika to make many more new attempts in the times to come.

She has set her sights to giving a super-duper quiz bonanza much in the fashion of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' under the aegis of which Star T.V. had conducted a gala show on the last Deepavali Day, with many famous film stars of Mumbai. She is seriously bent upon making many very important persons to sit pretty on the contestant's chair for 'Koteeswaran'. In all probability, this proposition would come true shortly, that is either on the ensuing New Year's Day or the subsequent Pongal day.

The Radaan T.V., presently, has in its' mind to rope in stars like Madhavan, Prashanth, Meena, Devayani.

Jyothika? she will have no chance until she knows Tamil.

The actresses were known formerly to fight for the honors of acting with Rajinikanth. As Kamal Hasan is the present day jockey, the actresses are now vying for the honors of acting alongside Kamal. There is a stiff competition among the top heroines of the day to get the approbation of Kamal.

The North Indian, glamour queens have bagged away 'Aalavandhan', the expensive Kamal Starrer. The lead actresses are keen in grabbing the opportunity of becoming Kamal's partner at least in the film to be directed by Mowli. All of them are as alert as sharp snakes in this aspect.

Virtually, there is a triangular contest, in this respect, among Simran, Soundarya and Meena. The pride of first place in discussions, of course, rests with Simran. And this is for the moment.
