Vijay acts alongside Surya, a close friend of him, after a long time since 'Nerrukku Ner'. In an unprecedented manner, he has earmarked more than a hundred days of call sheets for this film. Whereas Vijai would pair with Devayani, Ramesh Khanna would partner a new introduction Vijaya Lakshmi.

The picture has already made the moviegoers happy, as the songs of Ilayaraja have already started making waves. All of them have become hit songs. Within one week after the release of the Cassette, one lakh copies have already been sold.
