Once again, Sathyaraj has joined hands with the producer of 'Ennamma Kannu'. In addition to the mockery of Satyaraj, we are in to enjoy the funfare to be dished out by the comic crew of Vadivelu, Vivek, Janakaraj, Madhan Bop and Mayilsamy. No doubt, all these actors are adept in the art of dishing out hilarious comic effects. Of course, Sathyaraj would lead from the front.

The story is yarned wholly with Sathyaraj in the mind. It would be a typical Sathyaraj film. To add salt to the pep, he plays in two roles. Having a pseudonym, 'Avvai Shanmukhan', Roja appears in the guide of a male. No doubt, she would draw a thunderous applause in the theatre.

Mumtaz also is entering the fray to act in the 'Katti pudida' range for a second time. In the film she would be disappointed, as Sathyaraj would refuse to take her hand. At any rate, she won't disappoint the film fans at all as she would be masquerading in some scenes with a swimsuit.

As his earlier film, 'Guru Paarvai' did not do well at the box-office, the director has changed his name from Jegan to Parameshwar.

The lyrics penned up by Vaali have the vivacity of youth. Deva has scored the music in tune with the tone of the lyrics. He has soaked himself in the beauty of the songs. In a song sequence, Mumtaz accosts Sathyaraj with these wordings:

'Kadhal Veerappa Ennaik Kadathittu Poppa Sandalwood Pol Naan Irukkiren Sheppa'

(Oh my love lord Veerappa, will you please kidnap me? Am I not looking as fair as a piece of sandalwood?)

These catchy words would definitely steel the hearts of a section of the viewers. The costume has arrived down from Mumbai. Advertisements for this film have started appearing in newspapers from now on. The movie would hit the screens on the ensuing Pongal day.

No doubt, the theatres in Tamil Nadu are going to reverberate with the hearty laughter of the film going brotherhood.
