Vanchinathan is the most expensive, of all the films of Vijayakanth. And it has also has fetched the highest price among his films. Producer Kaja Maideen has reasons to be proud.

Though the title of the movie has a historic flavour, the picture would have all sorts of 'Masala' ingredients to savour with.

As usual, Vijayakanth would rise in revolt against social tyrannies. He would be finding certain solutions for some problems. Yet, the treatment given to the story would definitely be different, they say. The reason attributed for this is that the film has been efficiently made by the redoubtable director, Shaji Kailash of Malayalam films fame. It seems he has a big say in Malayalam filmdom.

Many expect that the sharp dialogue penned by Liaquat Alikhan would inflict injuries on many.
