By and by, the cinema personages have started leaning towards T.V channels. Before some time, the small screen had been the last refuge of people who have lost their opportunities in films. Now the small screen has become their favorite resort. Comedian Senthil and Kovai Sarala, despite their busy schedules in films, have come forward to figure in a T.V serial entitled "Annachi."It is hoped that "Annachi" will steal the thunder. Whether small screen would be able to swallow the big screen? or whether small screen would attract away all the film stars? one can conduct a veritable debate over this question.

   

"Azhagana Naatkal" is a film featuring Karthik and Simran in the lead roles. Sunder.C is the director. Art director Selvam is tipped as the producer. Is it true that he is the real producer? No.

It is said that Raghupathy, the former AIADMK minister is the actual producer. He is now in the D.M.K flanks. It seems the former minister has delved deep into film production. Of course he would be a back seat driver. There would be binami producers, at any rate.

Surya has already started walking, talking, dressing and conducting himself as Nanda, the hero. He is doing faithful homework as per the instructions of Director Bala, well in advance, that is before the start of shootings. One can see a different Surya in and as Nanda.

Ilayaraja has launched on an overseas journey to raise funds for the musical research center he is planning to start. The non-resident Tamils who are living on alien soil extend him warm welcome. They are willing to extend their helping hand to him by contributing their mite.

Ilayaraja has planned to set music score for Tirukural as the first venture of his musical research center. His project conceives setting divine music to all the 1330 rural. Famous singers would render those songs. In all, it is an ambitions project for Ilayaraja. A right hand man of him says that he had already worked out many wondrous musical forms in his quest to make his mission a grand success.
