Roja's savior Selvamani
RojaA lover in need is a lover indeed, proved Roja's lover R.K.Selvamani (the Tamil Director). We all very well know that a case has been filed against Roja and her brother in the high court of Chennai by financer Mukunchand Bothra, as the siblings could not clear their debts off. The court ordered the seizure of her car, fridge and other house hold articles. But the financer was not satisfied as the articles were not worth more than a lakh. So, the financer urged the court to stop eight producers from paying Roja her remuneration, instead contended they should pay him. Like the climax of the movie, the hero R.K.Selvamani came to the rescue of his ladylove by giving his 30 lakhs worth land as guarantee.

Chennai Court Puts Simran On Track
SimranOn a plea by producer Devi Vara Prasad, whose Chiranjeevi starrer Murgaraju  is on the floors. The Chennai high court has directed the film's leading lady Simran to act in the Chiranjeevi film till its finished. And not to do any other film as soon as she arrives from her tour abroad.
Devivara Prasad, a leading Telugu film producer said in his writ that Simran, who was to attend the shooting of his film Mrigaraju , did not report. And she left for a star nite in London and from their she has gone to Canada to shoot for a Telugu film. The producer plea to the court was that she should be directed to attend the shooting of the film as soon as she comes to India and not to report for any other film. The Chennai court has given a ruling to a similar effect. The actress, who had recently accepted her love affair with Raju Sundaram the choreographer and brother of Prabhu Deva, seems to have taken the producer for granted. This is the first instance of a film producer seeking the help of the court to enforce the dates of an artiste, says the industry circles. And this act of his will put all the snob stars of industry on track.
