Rajini
proclaims, with fervent hope to his inner circle that Rajkumar would be released
soon, from the clutches of Veerappan, in the pink of his health soon, that too
without the assistance of any emissary at all. In this respect, he is more
hopeful than anyone else. He seems to tell: "Everyday I am taking a hold
an Veerappan's mind. My hold will make Veerappan to lose his grip over Rajkumar's
hand. And the thespian will emerge safe in the near future!"
Do you know anything about this hold of Rajini? In the parlance of sages, this
'hold' means nothing but serious medition! Rajini is used to sit in meditation
at his prayer room for two hours on daily basis. Now, he sits for one more
hour in meditation, for the explicit purpose of speeding up the early release of
Rajkumar,
the matinee idol of Kannada film world.
Many cinefans remain heart broken, as Kamal
has not kissed Jothika
for the film, "Thenali". The kissing scenes did not find place
originally. But director Ravikumar felt that he missed something vitally ever
after picturising some mind-boggling shots. Suddenly a thought wave hit
brain.
Softly, he approached Kamal
Hasan: "Let's keep some kissing scenes ready. We can use
them in case we feel like adding salt to the pep at a later day. Otherwise, we
can very well leave them."
Kamal
was only too willing to enter into the fray. He promptly kissed Jothika
instantaneously. He told Ravikumar in a jocular vein, "What you want
from is no ware scene. After all it is a love scene, a kissing sequence! Why not?"
Human Bomb -Karan
Karan is about to explode (not in any heavy character). Just because, he has
put on so much weight and looks so huge. Really frightening. It seems he is
complaining: "Kameela, Nazar's wife gave me a Franch oil like medicine
(which she sells). I consumed the same for the sake of trimming my body. But the
medicine had worked in the opposite way. I have now become very stout instead of
getting slim.
Kameela became very tense on hearing the complaint of Karan. "It won't
suffice merely to consume this medicine. One should exercise strict control over
the intake of alcohol, and be careful about the food items also. The medicine
given by me. Is meant for disciplinarians alone. She plans to move her case with
the Actors' association requesting to take action on the actor. Kollywood's
passes a comment on Karan is, "Well, he is a human bomb!".
A guest role plus a dance for
"Thenali"
. Another solo dance for the film, "Anbudan",
an Arunkumar
- Rambha
starrer. Whether she has become a one-song dance use? We posed this question to
Meena herself. Her mother, Raj Mallika, intervened with a flashback.
"Once upon a time, a car was plying here and there. Vijayakumar
was gesturing as if he was in a search for a child seeing it from my balcony, I
came down.Vijayakumar
questioned me "whether there is a plumpy child here? Sivaji prefers
to act with that particular girl only. We are desperately in search for that
girl only. Can you please give a clue about that child?"
"First I hesitated under standably, Meena
was that child to allow her act in the film. But Vijayakumar
was stubborn. He argued and insisted that Sivaji
may even kill him if he went back empty handed. Convincing me to allow mean to
act along with Sivaji, Vijayakumar proved a luck-bringer a mascot, for me. See
where my daughter stands now! So now when he asked me to allow her now to dance
in a song sequence in the film in which his son acts. I said because of my
gratitude for him. She won't do so in other pictures. This is for certain!"

As
vijayakanth and Sarathkumar has threatened to take action against the actors
& actresses who avoid the association's meetings. The actress with 'ran' as
a part of her name has come out open with her view.
"Have these people cared much for the association which they were growing?
Now that they have grown sufficiently to settle down, they are arranging
meetings to have consultations. But they put the spanner in the nest of busy
artistes like me. How much loss my producer would suffer if I cancel a days
shooting for the sake of attending such meetings? Will the association make
good his loss? Actresses like me will have to make the most now. Our market
may close down next year itself. We too have to settle down well in our lives. Once
we lose our market, who will come to knock our doors? What these star actors do
is too much."
